Here you can find the standard profile ranges (e.g. J-seal, omega) but we also adapt the elastomers to the specific needs of these sectors: resistance to UV, mineral oils, nuclear radiation, etc.

Among the many examples of challenges which we have faced, the one which has received the most media coverage is without doubt supplying seals for the third containment arch on the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. For this project, we have devised a special compound which is resistant to nuclear radiation with the aim of ensuring the building remains sealed for a minimum of 100 years.

In addition to the 500 linear meters of seals which are fitted to the 6 swing doors on the arch, Hannecard has developed special tools so that the operators we have trained can fit the seals in accordance with the specifications.
